Contact Person / Housing Support Worker

Location: Skåne County, based in Malmö.

Employment: Temporary position / Summer job during July and August 2026.

We are currently looking for an engaged contact person or housing support worker for our operations in Malmö. We highly value candidates with relevant post-secondary education, for example in behavioral sciences, psychiatry, or pedagogy. We also welcome qualified social workers (socionoms) or trained social pedagogues (400 YH or 120–180 HP, distance learning not accepted).

Work experience from similar assignments is advantageous. Experience working with individuals experiencing mental health issues or substance abuse problems is also considered a strong merit.

Responsibilities

As a housing support worker, you are there to guide and provide security through individual support in daily life. You will serve as a contact person for several clients (both adults and children) whom you meet with regularly. Your duties include:

• Practical Support: Transportation, contacting authorities, doctor's visits, identifying employment opportunities (internships or work), and promoting good health through exercise.
• Counseling Support: May consist of trauma therapy, crisis management, and conversations regarding violence or the client's situation to increase understanding.
• Physical Supervision: Inspections of the clients' housing.
• Administrative Tasks: Social documentation and preparation of implementation plans.

You will contribute to helping individuals in our apartments gain greater confidence in their own abilities and increased independence.
