Job Responsibilities

Do you have an interest, willingness, and engagement to work with children? Do you enjoy taking responsibility, and can you step in with short notice even if you receive a booking from the preschool early in the morning?

Due to illness, childcare, and other absences, we need temporary staff. As a temp, you will be right in the middle of the operations, where flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to different routines are expected. You will have the opportunity to work at several of our preschools for shorter or longer assignments.

Working in a group of children means you always need to keep the children's best interests in focus. You will be a helping hand and share in the tasks found in a preschool. In the preschool, both trained and untrained childcare workers, preschool teachers, and educators work together.

The preschool serves children from one year of age until they start school. Here, a foundation is laid for children's learning and development. The municipality has 28 municipal preschools and family daycares.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who want to start working at our preschools in Härryda Municipality during the autumn. You must be able to step in with short notice, even if you receive a booking from us early in the morning. As a person, you are empathetic, engaged, calm, and responsible with a genuine interest in working with children.

Your qualifications:

• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Good computer skills
• High school diploma
• Available to work at least 4–5 days a week, Monday–Friday

• Valid driver's license (Class B)

To obtain employment, an extract from the Police's criminal record register must be presented. You order the criminal record extract on the police's website. If called for an interview, you must bring two different criminal record extracts: "Control of Own Information" in an unopened envelope, and show the extract for work in schools or preschools.

For this application, you need to answer a number of selection questions when you apply. Answers to the questions are used as part of the selection process. Your CV and answers to the questions must be formulated in Swedish.
