Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you with a big heart and a desire to make a difference in children's lives. You find it easy to collaborate with others and have the ability to be flexible and responsive to adapt to children's needs. Since the work on the unit involves sign language interpretation, you must speak Swedish fluently. You will sometimes work as support for an individual child who is to participate in teaching and education together with other children, but on their own terms and conditions. You plan together with the rest of the work team. You maintain close contact with guardians, as well as SPSM (National Agency for Special Education) and the central sign language interpretation service for guidance and support.

Qualifications:

• We prefer that you have a preschool teacher education.
• Previous experience working in a preschool is an advantage.
• Previous experience working with children who are blind or visually impaired is a strong advantage.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required. The assignment involves Swedish sign language interpretation.
• You have good knowledge of the curriculum's content and feel that you can contribute to operational development together with colleagues in collegial learning.

About Preschool Lianen

Preschool Lianen is located in the Berga district of Linköping. We have 60 places and three units. We have access to a large yard and are close to both the library and nature areas.

At Norlandia Preschools, we offer you competence development every semester based on the preschool's prioritized goals and initiatives. You will have access to our unique concepts, competence development days at the preschool, central initiatives, and educational offerings through our digital learning platform.

Employment type: Fixed-term position as a resource

Scope: approx. 85%

Working hours: Monday to Friday between 06:00–17:00

Start date: 2026-08-01

We apply individual salary setting and have collective agreements. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

In the event of employment, you must be able to present an extract from the criminal record register. You must also be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden, by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EEA or a valid work permit.
