What does the role entail?

We are currently seeking personal assistants for a 65-year-old man with MS living in Lund. The positions are fixed-term full-time (2 positions) and part-time 50% (4 positions) during the summer period, with a possibility of extension. The tasks are numerous and varied as the customer needs help with most aspects of daily life. Examples of duties include daily routines, transfers, personal hygiene, meals, and dressing/undressing. Assistive devices such as an electric wheelchair, shower chair, sliding board, and walker are available at the workplace.

The customer's interests include spending time with close family and friends, going out for coffee, eating good food, taking walks, swimming, painting, art, watching TV, and engaging in good conversations.

The working hours are as follows, subject to change:

• 08:00 - 16:00
• 09:00 - 16:00
• 16:00 - 22:00
• 22:00 - 08:00

About you

As a personal assistant, we would like you to be cooperative, responsive, responsible, flexible, and a good team player. The most important factor is the personal chemistry between you as the applicant and the customer, which may be decisive in the final selection.

Requirements:

• You must be a competent swimmer and tolerant of chlorine.

Merits include:

• Valid driver's license (manual/automatic),

• Completed healthcare-related education.

Scope: 2 full-time positions, 4 part-time positions (50%), fixed-term contracts during the summer period with a possibility of extension. Number of positions: 6. Start date: By agreement. Selection and interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and positions will be filled as soon as possible. Salary: We apply individual salary setting. If you are to work with this customer, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Swedish Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so order in good time.
