About Us

We are a small, family-oriented parental cooperative preschool in Ektorp, Nacka, with around 15 children aged 1–5. Our operations are characterized by a sense of community and curiosity, focusing on language development, free play, and creative activities. Daily outdoor time in the forest and nature is a natural part of our daily routine. We work in small groups and place great importance on secure relationships between children, educators, and our parents, who are also actively engaged in the cooperative.

Job Description

As a preschool teacher/educator, you will participate in the daily pedagogical activities together with the work team. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Working with children's language development.
• Leading small groups of children with a focus on each child's individual needs.
• Contributing to a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for the children.
• Planning and following up on pedagogical activities.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is responsible, can work independently, and is comfortable spending time outdoors in nature. You should be familiar with the Swedish Preschool Curriculum (Lpfö 18).

About the Position

• Working Hours: Minimum 50%, with good opportunities to increase working hours within the organization.
• Salary Range: 150–168 SEK/hour (equivalent to approx. 24,000–27,000 SEK full-time), based on experience and education level in accordance with collective agreements.

Qualifications

• Language: Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Work Experience

• Previous experience working with young children (ages 1–5).

Preferred Qualifications

• Preschool teacher education or other pedagogical education.
• Availability to work increased hours (more than 50%).
