Are you looking for a varied role where you can combine service, coordination, and project management? Do you thrive in an environment where you take significant responsibility and act as the central hub? Then the role of Facility Coordinator might be for you.
We are now looking for an unpretentious and driven person to join a growing site in Linköping with approximately 100 employees.
About the role
As a Facility Coordinator, you have a central and coordinating function at the site. You are responsible for ensuring that daily operations run smoothly – from practical tasks to driving smaller projects related to the office, work environment, and service.
The role is broad and varied – you work with both operational, practical tasks and the coordination of projects and improvement initiatives. This means that one moment you are solving everyday needs in the office, and the next you are driving or coordinating larger changes in the environment.
You work broadly within facility management, which means you handle everything from visitor management and supplier contacts to the coordination of renovations. You are the “eyes and ears on the ground” and ensure that everything functions as it should.
The role does not involve personnel responsibility, but you lead and coordinate the work operationally by taking initiative, setting requirements, and following up on suppliers and services related to the building.
Your responsibilities
- Coordinate the daily facility work at the site
- Receive visitors, manage access cards, and ensure a welcoming environment
- Be responsible for the coffee machine, snacks, fruit, and other office-related needs
- Coordinate suppliers, such as cleaning, craftsmen, and service providers
- Be responsible for ordering items such as furniture and equipment
- Inventory and maintain order in the office environment
- Drive and coordinate smaller projects, such as relocations or rearrangements
- Ensure that work environment and safety routines are followed
- Act as the contact person between the site, suppliers, and internal functions
An example of a project could be coordinating the relocation of a department, where you ensure that everything from electrical outlets and lighting to furniture and deliveries runs smoothly.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
About you
We are looking for someone who is social, proactive, and thrives in a role where you take responsibility and create structure.
To succeed in the role, we see that you:
- Are unpretentious and service-oriented
- Have good communication skills and are not afraid to engage in dialogues and set requirements
- Are self-motivated and have strong self-leadership
- Are structured but also flexible and solution-oriented
- Enjoy working both operationally and administratively
We would appreciate if you have experience from, for example:
- Service professions (e.g., hotel or reception)
- Office coordinator/office manager or similar role
- Facility or office-related services
What we offer
You will get a varied and independent role in a growing business where you have great opportunities to influence and develop working methods. The pace is fundamentally balanced, but can be high at times – therefore, it is important that you can adapt to the needs and ramp up when the situation requires it.
