As a Project Manager here, you are responsible for driving complex projects in a business with high demands on quality, collaboration, and delivery capability. The role combines leadership, business acumen, and technical understanding, where you work closely with both internal specialist functions and external partners.

You are responsible for the entire project journey - from initiation and planning to execution, follow-up, and closure. With a focus on time, budget, and quality, you ensure that projects meet their set goals and create long-term value for the business.

You become a key driver in creating structure, progress, and engagement even in complex and changing environments.

You will become part of the Project Management Office (PMO) section within the Operations Management area at the Fighter Aircraft division. We are the leading group in the organization when it comes to setting the framework for how we move forward with project management.

Your Profile

We believe that you are a confident and driven project manager who combines technical interest with a strong business focus.

To succeed in the role, we see that you:

• Have at least five years of experience in project management in complex businesses
• Have a relevant university or college education
• Are accustomed to working structured according to established processes and methods
• Have a good ability to adapt quickly when conditions change
• Are communicative, relationship-building, and confident in leading different types of teams
• Take initiative, drive the work forward, and see solutions where others see obstacles
• Have a strong commitment to development - both your own and the team's

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and are looking for you who want to contribute energy, new thinking, and positive drive to the team.

Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing, is a requirement.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
