Your Role

Do you want to be part of Saab's most advanced future areas – unmanned combat aircraft? We at the Maintenance Planning section are now looking for a Maintenance Coordinator for the Flight Maintenance Unit at Flight Test!

As a Maintenance Coordinator, your main tasks will be to monitor and issue preventive maintenance and airworthiness directives to aircraft technicians, as well as issue aircraft modifications. The role also involves creating work packages for upcoming maintenance, checking and registering performed maintenance actions, registering flights, archiving aircraft documentation, and keeping maintenance systems updated.

Reporting is primarily done to the aircraft team, the planning function, your direct manager, and the technical manager according to military aviation regulations (SE-EMAR). Travel is included in the work, primarily within Sweden.

As a person, you are structured and quality-conscious, and thrive working methodically and carefully. You have analytical skills and enjoy solving problems, contributing to identifying improvement opportunities and driving work forward with creative and sustainable solutions.

To succeed in the role, you have:

• Experience from working within an aircraft maintenance organization, with a good understanding of follow-up systems and maintenance processes.
• Knowledge within aircraft maintenance, preferably complemented by experience in maintenance planning.
• Excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
