Your role

The role of Production-Near Production Technician involves working with deviation management in production together with others in your team. Together with the rest of the support team, operators, production technical preparation, and designers, you will work on solving technical problems and continuous improvements.

You will be part of the management team within the workshop section where you operate, alongside production managers, quality technicians, and production controllers. In the management team, we support each other with our respective areas of responsibility and work together to achieve the set goals for the business. This may include, for example, developing guidelines and activities, or working with man-hours and lead times.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with experience in production technology and/or workshop experience in assembly-oriented production. We also prefer that you have a technical education, or alternatively, have acquired good production technical competence in another way.

The work as a production technician involves extensive collaboration with various departments and business units within the company, as well as external companies. You should therefore be comfortable with making contacts and building relationships, and have good English language skills.

In this role, it is important that you are creative and can find new solutions to problems that arise in production. You should be proactive and take initiative to drive progress. Within the support team, we work to achieve an interruption-free operation, which means you need to thrive in a team environment and be driven by achieving common goals.

Other skills that are meritorious:

• Good understanding of 3D data and production documentation
• System proficiency in the business system IFS ERP and SHARP
• Experience with requirement management and fulfillment of requirements within the business

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to the currently valid regulations for security clearance. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
