Your Role

Are you looking for a varied role where you get to work both practically and theoretically? As a Production Technician here, you are responsible for coordinating and ensuring that your colleagues have the right materials for maintenance and repair of workshop equipment. You plan the work, order materials, and calculate efforts when needed. Additionally, you support production groups by handling the procurement of tools and orders from subcontractors.

Part of the role also involves contributing to the development of test equipment for apparatus maintenance. Here, you will work both independently and in teams within a broad and exciting business area with great opportunities for development.

Your Profile

To thrive in this role, you need to be solution-oriented, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks. You are the hub in the network, taking responsibility and ensuring things get done. Since you collaborate with many different professional groups, it is important that you are clear and direct in your communication. Experience with machinery is an advantage, but the most important thing is that you have the right attitude and willingness to learn.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a basic technical understanding, preferably within mechanics, hydraulics, or electricity, and experience in maintenance work is a merit.
• Is proficient with computers.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Working hours are during the day, and the location is Malmslätt, Linköping.

The position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
