Your Responsibilities
To secure the competence of future engineers, we are running this 12-month trainee program. The trainee program allows you to alternate education with practical work within the engineering departments: Development & Standard or Order Engineering. You will receive in-depth training in the various systems you will work with, as well as comprehensive knowledge of Siemens Energy's organization, processes, and working methods, etc.
You will work with people from all over the world and have the opportunity to develop and deepen your interest in technology. You will be employed by Skill and belong to a Siemens Energy Hub with other trainees. When the trainee program is completed, you may be offered to continue working in regular operations. The program starts late summer/autumn 2026.
Examples of tasks:
- Work with the design of electrical constructions and systems such as generators, generator protection, low-voltage systems, servo drives, frequency converters, generator protection, medium-voltage equipment, cabinets, junction boxes, cables, etc.
- Work in development or order projects.
- Produce technical documentation such as circuit diagrams, layouts, etc.
- Solve operational problems and fault reports.
- Conduct technical investigations (calculations, standard questions, etc.).
- Work with design systems such as COMOS, etc.
Your Profile
- You are completing a university or civil engineering degree by summer 2026 with a focus on electrical power engineering or electronic design.
- You are proficient in Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
- You have an aptitude and interest in problem-solving, see the big picture and patterns, and possess analytical skills.
- You are innovative and thrive in a developmental environment where we work on creating new products and solutions.
Personal qualities that we value highly for you as a trainee are good teamwork skills, being driven, having good problem-solving abilities, as well as being responsible and flexible.
