We are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for a 36-year-old woman living just outside Kristianstad. She has a disability and needs support to live an independent, rich, and meaningful life.

As an assistant, you are an invaluable part of her daily life. Your tasks vary – from personal care and household chores to being a safe and present companion during social activities and outings.

👉 This is a hourly position with the possibility to expand to part-time if the collaboration works well. The work involves varying shifts, so it is important that you have good flexibility regarding working hours.

Who are you?

• 💗 You are a woman with great empathy, patience, and a positive attitude towards life.

• 🤝 You have a genuine interest in assisting others with their needs and creating a safe and stimulating environment for the person you support.

• 🚗 A driver's license is required as the woman lives outside the city center.

• 🗣️ Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as communication is a large part of your work.

• 📋 Experience from similar work is meritorious but not a requirement. Who you are and your personal qualities are highly valued.

Scope & Work Arrangement:

• 📅 Start date: Immediately.

• 📊 Employment level: The position starts as an hourly position, but if the collaboration works well, there are good opportunities for part-time, approx. 70–75 %.

• 🕒 Shifts: Days, evenings, nights with on-call duty, and weekends.

Recruitment Process & Employment Conditions

Recruitment Process

We contact candidates who are suitable for a first interview on an ongoing basis. The position is filled when we have found the right person, which may happen before the last application date. Your application is processed by staff at ENKV Assistans, together with the client, as well as any relatives, guardians, or other involved parties. If the position involves working with a minor client, a certificate of good conduct is required.

Child's Perspective in Recruitment

At ENKV, we carefully follow the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, which means that if you apply for a position involving work with minors, the recruitment process will include specific steps to ensure that the child's wishes and needs are taken into account. Employment where you work with minor clients also includes training on the child's perspective.

Employment Conditions

If you proceed in the recruitment process, you need to be able to verify your identity and prove that you have the right to work in Sweden. To sign your employment contract and time reports, you are required to have a BankID.

📚 To ensure that we maintain high quality in the assistance, new employees will undergo a web-based introductory training (approx. 1 hour), preferably before the employment starts but no later than within one month from the start of employment. Read more about the training here. (#)
