We are currently seeking a temporary personal assistant for part-time work during the holiday period in July and August, to support an active and cheerful man who needs assistance in his daily life following a traumatic brain injury. This job is perfect for you if you:

⭐ About our client:

Our client is an active man who enjoys staying on the move. He lives in an adapted apartment in Lund, where his daily life is often filled with walks, café visits, shopping, and cinema trips. Concerts and stand-up comedy are also activities he truly appreciates and which bring him great joy. If you share his great passion for music, play an instrument, or have a genuine interest in music, it would be a significant advantage. He has good verbal skills and no severe cognitive issues, but occasionally needs support to manage brain fatigue and anxiety. Therefore, we are looking for an attentive and reliable assistant who can provide him with the support he needs to continue living an active and meaningful life. The home has no pets, but it is dog-friendly, so if you wish to bring your four-legged friend along occasionally, that is perfectly fine. To facilitate his mobility, assistive devices such as a Turner, walker, lifting belt, and wheelchair are used, making it easier to provide him with the support he needs in various situations.

Your tasks:

• 🛁 Support with personal hygiene, care, and transfers.

• 🏋️‍♂️ Assistance with home exercises.

• 👕 Assistance with dressing and undressing.

• 🍽️ Cooking and support during meals.

• 🎭 Accompanying and supporting during social activities and leisure interests.

• 🧹 Household chores.

• 🤝 Being a calm and reliable support during trips and outings.

Who are you?

We value qualities such as being calm, positive, empathetic, and attentive, as well as being resourceful and having a sense of humor. We are looking for an independent, initiative-taking, and stress-tolerant person who enjoys active work and wants to be part of our positive and supportive team. You must be able to adapt to the client's needs and be flexible in your work. Previous experience working with people who have brain injuries is an asset.

• 💪 Good physical fitness.

• 🚭 Non-smoker.

• 🗣️ Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Scope & Work Arrangement:

Recruitment Process & Employment Terms

Recruitment Process

We contact candidates suitable for a first interview on an ongoing basis. The position will be filled once we have found the right person, which may happen before the final application deadline. Your application will be handled by staff at ENKV assistans, together with the client, and possibly relatives, guardians, or other relevant parties. If the position involves work with a minor client, a criminal record check is always required.

Child Perspective in Recruitment

We at ENKV strictly follow the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, which means that if you apply for a position involving work with minors, the recruitment process will include specific steps to ensure that the child's will and needs are taken into account. Employment involving work with a minor client also includes training on the child perspective.

Employment Terms

To be employed with us, you must be at least 18 years old, be able to verify your identity, and show that you have the right to work in Sweden. Additionally, a valid BankID is required as both employment contracts and time reports are signed digitally.
