Tasks

In the role of mechanical designer, you work as a consultant on assignments for Hilcon's customers – from startups to global industrial companies. Assignments vary and can cover parts of or the entire product development process, from idea to finished solution. In the role, you work either on-site at the customer's premises or from Hilcon's office when the assignment allows. You will become part of an engaged team that values quality, collaboration, and a sustainable work pace.

Education, experience, and personal qualities

• Completed university education in mechanical engineering or equivalent

• You have at least 4 years of experience as a mechanical designer

• You have good knowledge of materials such as plastic, aluminum, and steel

• Are familiar with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Catia, Inventor, NX, or 3DEXPERIENCE

• Proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• Meritorious: experience from the consulting industry or leading development projects.

As a person, you need to be driven and confident in your role. You have a positive attitude and enjoy working in a team, but can quickly shift focus and feel comfortable independently taking initiative within projects and seeking knowledge when you encounter something you don't understand. Furthermore, it is important that you have a technical aptitude and an interest in how things work.
