In our development work, we are now seeking a System Developer for the Section for Coordination and Development.
We offer flexible working hours, a fitness allowance, and generous holiday conditions. It is possible to work from home two days a week.
As a System Developer, you will work on one or more of our development projects. We drive our development agilely in projects with short sprints where you contribute your expertise. You will work on both new development and the maintenance of the National Archives' existing in-house developed systems. These include, among others, our public search service (https://sok.riksarkivet.se), control systems for digital preservation, and of course, archival information systems.
About You
You should have:
- Relevant education from a university/college with a focus such as computer science, systems science, or equivalent acquired competence
- At least two years of experience in system development acquired during the last three years
- Experience developing web applications, likely in the Microsoft .NET environment
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience in system development based on the .NET platform with C#
- Experience with .NET (Core), .NET Framework, Git, SQL Server, T-SQL, Entity Framework, Windows Server, IIS
- Experience with Azure DevOps / Team Foundation Server
- Good knowledge of JavaScript and JavaScript libraries
- Experience with the JavaScript framework Angular
- Experience with UX/UI design

Workplace: The location for the position is flexible and can be Stockholm, Täby, Lund, or Härnösand.
The National Archives applies individual salary setting and a 6-month probationary period.

About the IT Unit
The IT Unit is one of the units within the "Department for Digital Development and Digital Preservation" (DUB). The unit currently has just over 30 employees and is characterized by broad competence, including IT infrastructure, user support, system integration, and system development.
The IT Unit is responsible for the operation of the National Archives' central IT systems by continuously maintaining the organization's requirements for availability, functionality, performance, and security. The IT Unit is divided into three sections: the User Support Section, the IT Operations Section, and the Section for Coordination and Development.
