Why this job is for you You want to lead projects at the intersection of IT and industrial operations – where digitalization, cybersecurity, and robust production environments are central. In a world where connected factories and critical infrastructure are becoming increasingly important, you thrive on taking responsibility, creating structure, and driving projects in complex and regulated environments.
As an IT/OT Project Manager with us, you will play a key role in planning, leading, and following up on projects for Sweden's leading industrial companies. This can range from network modernization and segmentation to cybersecurity initiatives, system integration, or upgrades in production-proximate environments. You ensure that projects are driven according to requirements for security, quality, and regulatory compliance – without compromising operational continuity.
With us, you become part of an environment where project management is a core competency. Within Knightec Group, we have XLPM – our competence center for leadership and project management. Here, we develop methodology, ways of working, and competence to succeed in complex assignments. You get access to training, knowledge exchange, and support – so that you can continue to develop and deliver top-class results.
Within our Compliance & Management business area, we support industry in the transition to digital, secure, and sustainable solutions through expertise in quality, security, regulatory requirements, and project management.
Responsibilities
You will lead projects in technically advanced and often regulated environments, where structure, risk management, and collaboration are crucial. Examples of responsibilities include:
Lead IT/OT projects such as network segmentation, infrastructure optimization, and cybersecurity initiatives
Plan, steer, and follow up on projects regarding time, cost, and quality
Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and internal governance documents
Coordinate stakeholders such as IT, production, security, suppliers, and external parties
Drive change management in organizations with high demands for traceability and documentation
Follow up and report project status to steering groups and management
Who are you?
You are a leader who creates trust and structure even in complex and changing environments. You have a strong security mindset, are meticulous with details when required, and simultaneously pragmatic enough to drive projects forward.
You enjoy:
Working closely with both technology and operations
Handling many stakeholders with different perspectives
Taking responsibility in environments where quality and security are critical
Learning new domains and getting up to speed with regulations and ways of working
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is structured, communicative, and confident in leading projects in complex environments. You have the ability to navigate between technology, operations, and regulations, and thrive in roles where coordination and responsibility are central.
In addition to your personal attributes, we require:
Several years of experience in project management within IT, OT, or industrial environments
Experience leading projects in controlled or regulated operations (e.g., pharmaceuticals, energy, manufacturing)
Basic knowledge in cybersecurity, particularly related to industrial systems and the IEC62443 standard
Experience with project models, risk management, change management, and stakeholder management
Ability to work structured with documentation and compliance with processes
You communicate fluently in Swedish and English.
