About the Role

We are seeking a Systems Engineer for our client in Järfälla to work on the development of advanced control and monitoring systems. You will join a technical environment characterized by structure, quality, and clear processes, working across the entire chain – from requirement specification to testing and commissioning at the end customer.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex projects, values order and structure, and enjoys having multiple technical points of contact.

Your Responsibilities

As a Systems Engineer, you will work with:

• Development of requirements and test cases
• Maintenance and development of existing requirement specifications
• Documentation of system architecture and system design
• Analysis and presentation of technical solutions for both internal and external stakeholders
• Participation in the entire development process, including testing and commissioning
• Requirement management using tools such as Doors Next
• On-site work in a security-classified environment

About the Team and Work Environment

You will become part of a team working broadly with requirements, system design, and technical analysis. The group currently consists of systems engineers, technical project managers, configuration managers, IT security experts, and technical writers.

In 2026, a restructuring will take place, meaning the group will consist solely of systems engineers moving forward.

Work is conducted on-site in Järfälla, with a planned relocation to Solna later in the year.

Requirements Profile

Essential Requirements

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Systems Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 1 year of experience in areas such as real-time systems, safety-critical systems, or traffic control systems
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English

The position requires a security clearance according to current legislation. Citizenship and background may affect the possibility of approval.
