With us, you will combine senior system development with practical work with AI – both in your own development and in solutions for our clients.

We are currently looking for a senior fullstack developer in Java who wants to help build sustainable digital solutions together with us at Accelerate – while also contributing to how AI is used in our deliveries.

About the role
As a senior fullstack developer with us, you are a key person both technically and strategically. You work with modern Java development and are simultaneously involved in developing how AI is used in real-world systems.

You will work with clients at different stages of their AI journey – from introducing AI assistants in the development work to building more advanced AI-driven solutions in production.

In this role, you will among other things:

• Develop and maintain microservice-based backend solutions in Java/Spring Boot
• Build modern frontend solutions with React, Angular, or similar
• Integrate AI into existing systems and business processes
• Design and implement agent flows and AI-driven processes that work in real systems
• Work with AI throughout the entire development lifecycle – from code and testing to operations and improvement
• Ensure that solutions are built robustly, securely, and with good traceability according to DevOps principles
• Work closely with DevOps on CI/CD, containerization, and cloud environments
• Participate in architecture and design decisions and act as a mentor for more junior colleagues

You will also use AI as a tool in your own development, for example to streamline coding, testing, documentation, and debugging with tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and similar.

In some assignments, you will work within established technical frameworks, while in others, you will have the opportunity to influence how AI is used in solutions and business processes.

An important part of the role is the ability to guide clients on how AI can be used and translate technology into concrete solutions and business value.

AI tools and technologies
We don't work with everything, but we have experience with several of the following technologies depending on the assignment:

• OpenAI / Azure OpenAI
• Google Gemini / Vertex AI
• Claude (Anthropic)
• GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and similar AI assistants

You do not need to have experience with all of the above, but we would like you to have worked practically with AI in some form, for example through integrations, automation, or in your own development process.

Who are you?
You have at least 8 years of experience as a fullstack developer, with deep expertise in Java and modern web technologies. You thrive at the intersection of technology, architecture, and business, and you enjoy seeing solutions work in the real world.

• Have a relevant academic degree in IT, computer science, or systems science
• Communicate fluently in Swedish and English

Swedish citizenship is required for this position. Background checks are conducted on the final candidate.

• Experience with AI integrations or LLM-based solutions
• Test automation and TDD
• Certifications in Java or cloud
• Ability to document and explain complex technical solutions
