About the Role

As an Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring high availability and optimal performance for all systems supporting our operations. You will work closely with the business, focusing on maintaining a stable, secure, and functional IT environment, primarily at our distribution center in Rosersberg.

The role is hands-on and varied, combining onsite work, support, and infrastructure operations. You will be right where the action is, handling everything from installations and troubleshooting to managing critical outages and further developing our IT environment.

You will become a key person in ensuring that our systems and equipment function in a business where IT is critical for daily operations.

Examples of responsibilities:

• Ensure the operation and further development of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, storage, and cloud services)

• Work onsite for installations, hardware replacements, and outages in warehouses, stores, and offices

• Provide technical support via phone, ticketing systems, and onsite

• Troubleshoot and manage equipment such as printers (Zebra) and handheld scanners

• Support the business with IT-related questions regarding POS and logistics systems

• Monitor and work with environments such as Windows Server, VMware, and Azure

• Identify and resolve incidents – both locally and remotely

• Participate in IT projects, e.g., upgrades, migrations, and rollouts

• Ensure documentation of systems, procedures, and incidents

• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors

You bring with you:

• Technical education in IT or equivalent experience

• Experience with IT infrastructure, server operations, networks, and cloud services

• Knowledge of Windows Server, VMware, and Azure

• Experience with client management, printers, and peripheral equipment

• Ability to provide technical support and solve problems efficiently

• Valid driver's license (Class B)

Merits:

• Experience with POS systems or logistics-related IT

About the Recruitment

The position is a permanent full-time role starting as soon as possible. This position offers an opportunity to grow within an exciting and dynamic field. The role involves travel to our warehouse in Rosersberg and our stores around Stockholm, but you will be part of our team at Åhléns headquarters on Dalagatan 100.
