Job Description
In the role of Application Specialist/IT Specialist, the tasks will include, among others:
- Work with and be responsible for the overall solution for the asset register system (currently IFS) and ensure that the solution is cohesive as a whole by setting frameworks and guidelines, communicating a plan for the solutions so that the business moves in the right direction.
- Act as a bridge between projects, other internal functions, and operations/management.
- Manage scope and plans for investigations that need to be carried out within operations and in projects.
- Ensure that system solutions follow best practices.
- Act as a leader by analyzing and distributing work within the work team.
- Work with roadmaps and technical debt and their potential effects.
- Continuously work with anchoring and information sharing for effective collaboration with the operations team regarding roadmaps, needs, and scope.
- Continuously follow news within the asset register system IFS, e.g., analyze IFS Updates.
- Be responsible for ensuring that IT solutions are realized correctly in accordance with business requirements and in relation to other IT solutions, and that the solution has the right lifecycle based on business needs.
- Be helpful in design choice and solution questions.
- Ensure that solution quality attributes (such as performance, scalability, robustness, manageability, and flexibility) are addressed and weighed against functional requirements.
Ensure that there is traceability between solution requirements and business needs and that solutions are consistent and manageable.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of work experience in the field of technical maintenance, construction, and/or infrastructure projects, of which at least 5 years within the energy industry or equivalent.
- At least 8 years of work experience as a solution owner for IFS in medium-sized organizations (100-250 employees) in operations and implementation of new versions, e.g., during upgrades.
- At least 5 years of work experience in translating business processes into system solutions for infrastructure maintenance and/or infrastructure projects (including document management) in IFS and its relations to other areas in IFS (e.g., finance, resource management, warehouse, business intelligence).
- At least 5 years of work experience working according to agile methodology with a focus on delivering iteratively and breaking down a solution into several steps in a long-term plan.
- At least 3 years of work experience with the IFS data model.
- At least 3 years of work experience with API and/or integration work.
- At least 3 years of work experience with go-lives and upgrades (updates) of IFS.
- At least 1 year of work experience working with ISO 27000.
- At least 1 year of work experience working with IFS C.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of work experience working with IFS modules: Warehouse, Doc, Asset Des, Procurement, Maintenance, Linear Asset, Sales/Contracts.
- At least 5 years of work experience working with LCE (Life Cycle Experience, formerly Build Place) and Marble (IFS) programming language and PLSQL/SQL.
- At least 3 years of work experience working with the IFS module 'Project', and projections/permissions, PowerBI, IFS workflows, information security, IFS AI/CoPilot.
