We are now recruiting two leisure-time teachers for Tuggeliteskolan.

Tuggeliteskolan is a lower secondary school with approximately 160 students from preschool class to grade 3. The school is located on Skåreberget, close to the forest, with nature and outdoor areas, illuminated trails, and a ski slope. Our view of the student is based on the idea that every student should be seen based on their strengths and abilities and be affirmed for who they are. Every student, based on their own conditions, should receive development, support, and challenges to learn for life. One of the positions may include physical education teaching.

Responsibilities

As a leisure-time teacher, you play an important role in creating a safe, stimulating, and educational environment for our students – both during school hours and in leisure time. You are part of the whole picture of the students' entire day and contribute to making teaching, play, and learning meaningful and cohesive.

With us, you are part of a work team consisting of primary school teachers, leisure-time pedagogues, and student assistants who meet regularly to plan and develop the activities. You carry out your work in both the leisure-time center and the school. Together with your colleagues, you conduct pedagogical and meaningful teaching that challenges and stimulates students to learn both indoors and outdoors.

You work based on the curriculum and other regulatory documents, and you have the responsibility that the Swedish National Agency for Education assigns to licensed leisure-time teachers. This means that, with your pedagogical competence, you lead the teaching at the leisure-time center and ensure that the activities maintain high quality and contribute to the students' development.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed teacher with a specialization in leisure-time education.
