Trainer in Human Rights and Anti-Discrimination – Focus on Development
Do you want to contribute to a society free from discrimination?
Do you have experience in education, advocacy, and developing project ideas? Then you might be the one we are looking for.
About Agera Värmland
Agera Värmland is a non-profit organization working for human rights and democracy in Värmland. We run one of Sweden's anti-discrimination agencies and, with support from the Agency for Youth and Civil Society (MUCF), provide free legal advice and support to individuals who experience or have been subjected to discrimination.
An important part of our mission is also to prevent discrimination through education, knowledge dissemination, and advocacy. We collaborate with municipalities, civil society, and other actors throughout Värmland to strengthen efforts for a more inclusive society.
About the Role
We are now looking for a trainer who, in a versatile role, wants to contribute to our preventive work against discrimination and for a more inclusive society in Värmland.
In this role, you will plan and conduct training sessions and workshops on discrimination, human rights, and equal rights and opportunities. The training sessions target various groups and are based on anti-discrimination legislation. The work also includes communicating and spreading knowledge about our issues through various channels and in meetings with different target groups.
In this role, you will collaborate with other staff at the anti-discrimination agency and work both with existing training programs and develop tailored training based on the needs of different organizations. You will also contribute to the development of the organization through collaboration, advocacy, and work on project ideas and project applications.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is pedagogical, proactive, and engaged in issues related to human rights and equality. You thrive in a role where you meet different target groups, collaborate with many actors, and contribute to knowledge dissemination and advocacy on our issues. You work systematically, are self-driven, and have a development-oriented approach to your work.
We place great importance on your personal qualities, especially your ability to meet people with respect, create engagement, and contribute to an inclusive context.

We offer collective agreements through Fremia as well as benefits such as wellness grants, wellness hours, and occupational health care.
