Stenstalidskolan (F-9 and adapted primary school), Strandskolan (F-3), and Ölmeskolan (F-6) together form the northern principal area. Together, the school area has about 850 students and around 130 staff members. Together, we work for students' right to a good education, and the staff is the most important resource of the organization.

The school administration's area of responsibility includes services for children from one year old to upper secondary education. The services include school staff, preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, upper secondary school, adapted upper secondary school, and cultural school.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher in mathematics and natural sciences for grades 7-9, you will plan, implement, and evaluate the teaching. Your teaching is based on the school's governing documents, and from these, you will plan the teaching based on your and the subject team's systematic quality work. Student influence is a given.

Together with colleagues, you will actively work with the organization's mission and development work (goal fulfillment, student influence, safety, and study peace). Your responsibilities beyond teaching include class responsibility and mentorship. You will also hold development talks and parent meetings with students and guardians in the class. As a teacher, you contribute to the development of the organization in the right direction and provide our students with good conditions to grow and develop into creative, curious, and secure individuals.

We also see pedagogical documentation as an obvious part of our systematic quality work and our organizational development.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has teaching qualifications for grades 7-9, with a focus on Math/Science, and has a teaching license. Since language is our primary tool, you need to have good skills in both spoken and written Swedish.

You have good collaboration skills and enjoy working together with colleagues to create a safe and developing learning environment for students. You are relationship-building and easily establish trusting relationships with both students, guardians, and colleagues. As a person, you are self-driven and take responsibility for your work, while also being structured and able to plan, organize, and follow up on your teaching effectively.

Furthermore, you are goal- and results-oriented with a focus on students' knowledge development and goal fulfillment. You have good pedagogical insight and adapt your teaching based on students' different needs and circumstances. You are also quality-conscious and continuously work on developing and improving your teaching and contributing to the school's joint development work.
