We are looking for a certified teacher qualified in some of the subjects mathematics, biology, physics, chemistry, and technology for the upper secondary school (grades 7-9).

The responsibilities include teaching at the upper secondary level and being a mentor in a class together with 1-2 colleagues.

The position is approximately 80%. Other workloads can also be discussed.

Start date is August 2026, or by agreement.

Important qualities include being creative, curious, and interested in trying new exciting ideas. Great emphasis is placed on personality, strong commitment, and experience.

We are interested in all teachers, both newly graduated and those with work experience.

About Estetiska skolan

Estetiska skolan celebrated its 20th anniversary a few years ago! We are an independent school run by a non-profit association. We have both upper secondary school and high school with a total of about 200 students. Here, the student is at the center.

We are members of the National Association of Ideological Schools, a coalition of schools that share an important commonality; we do not distribute profits. Instead, we believe that education should be conducted with the joy of seeing people develop as the primary driving force. The money that follows a student in the form of school funding goes directly to improving the school and teaching. Therefore, our school is run by a non-profit association.

We have been centrally located in Arvika since 2004.

In our upper secondary school, we have profiles in music, art, dance, theater, and sports.
