We are looking for a substitute teacher in subjects such as mathematics, biology, physics, chemistry, and technology at the middle school level (grades 7-9).

The responsibilities include teaching at the middle school level and being a mentor in a class together with 1-2 colleagues.

The position is 100% during the autumn term of 2026 due to a teacher on parental leave.

Start date is August 2026, or by agreement.

Important qualities include being creative, curious, and interested in trying out new exciting ideas. Personality, strong commitment, and experience are highly valued.

About Estetiska skolan

Estetiska skolan celebrated its 20th anniversary a few years ago! We are an independent school run by a non-profit association. We have both middle school and high school with a total of about 200 students. Here, the student is at the center.

We are members of the National Association of Idea-Driven Schools, a coalition of schools that share an important common goal; we do not distribute profits. Instead, we believe that education should be driven by the joy of seeing people develop. The funds that follow a student in the form of school funding go directly to improving the school and teaching. Therefore, our school is run by a non-profit association.

We have been located centrally in Arvika since 2004.

In our middle school, we offer profiles in music, art, dance, theater, and sports.
