Teacher for New Program in Adapted Upper Secondary School – Health, Care, and Social Services
Starting in the autumn term of 2026, Stjerneskolan will launch a new program within the adapted upper secondary school: Health, Care, and Social Services. In connection with this, Stjerneskolan is seeking a teacher who wants to make a difference. You will play an important role as both a teacher and a supportive adult for our new students, contributing to a safe and developmental environment.
The adapted upper secondary school offers a safe, structured, and developmental learning environment where every student is given the opportunity to succeed based on their own prerequisites. Teaching takes place in small groups and in close collaboration with other teachers in the Health, Care, and Social Services program, as well as teachers and student assistants in the individual program of the upper secondary school.
A relational approach permeates the entire operation. We have a staff group with great engagement and a lot of heart, where every employee makes a difference in the students' daily lives and future.

RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in working with students with intellectual disabilities and other functional variations, and who wants to be part of an operation where warmth, professionalism, and student focus are central.
As a teacher with us, you will:
- plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching based on students' individual needs and curriculum documents
- actively work with accessible learning environments, clear pedagogy, and language-developing methods
- create safety, structure, and predictability through a relational approach
- collaborate closely in the work team together with student assistants, colleagues, and the Student Health Service (EHT)
- together with colleagues, supervise and follow up on students during their work placement (APL) periods
QUALIFICATIONS
Licensed teacher, or special teacher with a focus on intellectual disabilities. Experience with the target group is highly meritorious. Personal suitability is considered.
Salary form: Monthly salary.

Working hours: Daytime.
