Consultant/Interim: IT Support Technician for Service Desk in Örebro

In the role of a consultant for our client, you will contribute to a socially important mission as an IT Support Technician. Beyond the meaningful purpose of your work, you will also be a key part of developing the client's service desk!

The assignment lasts for approximately 6 months with the possibility of extension and direct employment with the client. What you will do with us

The service desk at our client is the point of contact for all technical IT support needs, so cases can vary significantly. The system support for case management, among other things, is ServiceNow, and the client works according to the ITIL framework. The service desk is responsible for the IT workplace and handles configuration, logistics, and support for tablets, mobile phones, and terminals. At our client, your tasks will primarily consist of:

• Providing user support via phone and case management systems
• Registering, managing, analyzing, and troubleshooting IT cases
• Working with account and access management
• Writing knowledge articles to assist users
• Configuring and distributing specific hardware within the IT workplace

Your team and workplace

The service desk is part of the IT department and the IT Delivery group, which is responsible for service and support for IT and telephony for the client's approximately 26,400 employees. You will join a team of six IT Support Technicians. The culture is family-like, where everyone helps each other and is keen on developing together. The client's newly renovated office is located at Aspholmen in Örebro. The service desk's opening hours are weekdays between 7:00 and 16:00.

About you

We are looking for someone who has:

• Immediate availability (1–2 months)
• Relevant post-secondary education
• Experience in support work (e.g., Service Desk, NOC, or operations)
• Experience with ITIL and case management systems is an asset
• Experience with Windows environments, including Active Directory, AAD, and Windows Server
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing

You are meticulous and work in a structured and systematic manner. You have good collaboration skills and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team. Furthermore, you are communicative and can adapt your communication to the recipient's technical level.
