Technical Project Manager at Combitech
Our Systems Engineering division at Combitech in Örebro, Karlskoga, Arboga, and Enköping is growing, and we are now looking for an engaged technical project manager who wants to drive development projects at the forefront of technology. We are looking for someone with a solid background in product development and a strong technical understanding, combined with leadership skills and a clear delivery focus.
What we offer
At Combitech, we invest in our employees, who are the core, brain, and heart of our operations. We do this by focusing on your professional development, making it easy for you to combine work with everyday life, and offering other great benefits.
In the region, Combitech is undergoing an expansion where we are building up our in-house operations, and you will play an important role in shaping that delivery. We at Combitech strongly believe in your development, both in your professional role and on a personal level. We offer technical courses and regular course weeks for you to grow and network with colleagues from across the country. We value a fun and inclusive work environment and offer joint activities to strengthen team spirit.
What the role entails
As a project manager, you will drive technically complex projects in software, electronics, mechanics, and system integration. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and following up, providing technical support both internally and in dialogue with customers. You will ensure that the project's budget and timeline are maintained through careful estimation and follow-up of finances and progress, as well as reporting project status to the steering group.
You may lead development teams, manage resources, and coach colleagues to achieve common goals. By delving into technical solutions and evaluating different options, you contribute to the success of the projects. Effective communication and strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders are crucial for success in the role.
You will either work directly for the end customer or in one of our in-house projects. Some assignments take place on-site with the customer, while others are in teams from one of our offices in Örebro, Karlskoga, Arboga, or Enköping.
We are looking for someone who
You have a relevant engineering degree and several years of experience leading technical projects. You possess a good technical understanding, whether you have a background in system design, software, electronics, or mechanics. As a person, you are structured, proactive, and communicative, which makes you thrive in creating order, building trust, and driving development forward. You have worked with product development, preferably as a system designer.
Experience with agile methods such as Scrum, SAFe, or Kanban, or traditional project methodologies, is an advantage. We believe you have a background as an engineer or developer in system design or mechanics. Industry experience from areas such as defense, automotive, energy, or industrial development is valuable. Certifications such as Scrum Master, PMP, IPMA, or Prince2 are also advantageous. Good knowledge of Swedish and English is required, both spoken and written.
As the position involves work covered by defense secrecy, you must undergo and be approved in a security screening with a background check.
Selection is ongoing. We look forward to your application!
