The Employment Market Unit (AME) works to support individuals who are often far from the labor market to approach work or studies. Through work-related activities, guidance, and internships, participants have the opportunity to develop their work skills in a safe environment.

About 30 employees work at the Employment Market Unit, more than half of whom are supervisors in their own operations.

The operation has an individualized approach. One of the tools used is BIP/SKAPA, which means a belief in the individual's ability to develop and a clear job focus.

We are now looking for a supervisor for the Association Team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the Association Team, you will work together with participants on various practical assignments, primarily related to the association life. Much of the work takes place on-site at associations where you perform tasks such as green space maintenance and simpler practical work.

As a supervisor, you play an important role in both leading the work and supporting participants in their development towards the labor market. You will be two supervisors responsible for the operation and working in close collaboration.

Your job responsibilities include, among other things:

• planning and leading the daily work in the team together with a colleague
• guiding participants in practical tasks
• maintaining active and ongoing communication with participants
• contacting associations and representing the operation in assignments
• securing job assignments and ensuring that participants have tasks to perform.
• supporting and motivating participants to develop work routines, responsibility, collaboration, and their participation in various job-focused initiatives.

You will also collaborate with other supervisors and professionals within the Employment Market Unit, municipal administrations, authorities, and companies. Documentation and other administrative tasks are part of the role, which requires good computer skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying have a recognized education at least at the high school level or another relevant education that is assessed as equivalent for the position.

You have:

• experience in practical work, for example in parks, green space maintenance, property management, or other practical areas that are considered relevant for the position
• experience in leading, guiding adults in work or educating adults in a relevant professional field for the position.

It is an advantage if you:

• have experience working with adults with various support needs
• have experience from employment market activities, integration work, or adult education
• are multilingual, preferably Arabic

As a person, you are responsible and structured, and you easily find solutions even when circumstances change rapidly. You are confident in leading groups in practical work and have a good ability to create clarity and structure in the workgroup. Building relationships comes naturally to you, and you enjoy collaborating while also being able to work independently. We are looking for someone who is hands-on and does not hesitate to step in where needed.

In the role, you need to enjoy varying days and that planning can sometimes change quickly. You will work both independently and together with colleagues and participants, and you like that combination.

A driving license for manual transmission is required.
