Instructor for the Falken Operation

The Employment Market Unit (AME) works to support individuals who are often far from the labor market to approach work or studies. Through work-related activities, guidance, and internships, participants have the opportunity to develop their work skills in a safe environment.

Approximately 30 employees work at the Employment Market Unit, more than half of whom are instructors in their own operations. The operation has an individualized approach. One of the tools used is BIP/SKAPA, which reflects a belief in the individual's ability to develop and a clear job focus.

We are now looking for an instructor for the Falken operation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an instructor at Falken, you will work with participants who perform tasks related to simple assembly, transport of food, books, and hygiene products, as well as disassembly of outdated aids.

Together with three colleagues, you will work closely with participants who, for various reasons, have had difficulty establishing themselves in the labor market and may need clear and pedagogical support in their work.

Your responsibilities will include:

• planning and leading the daily work at Falken together with colleagues
• guiding participants in simple assembly work and various tasks related to the operation's transports
• maintaining active and ongoing communication with participants
• contacting partners and representing the operation in assignments
• introducing work tasks and ensuring quality in the work
• supporting and motivating participants to develop work routines, responsibility, collaboration, and their participation in various job-focused initiatives

You will also collaborate with other instructors and professionals within the Employment Market Unit, municipal administrations, authorities, and businesses. Documentation and other administrative tasks are also part of the role, which requires good computer skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate has a recognized education at least at the high school level or other relevant education deemed equivalent for the position.

You also have:

• experience in guiding, supporting, and leading adults
• experience working with adults with various support needs

It is an advantage if you have:

• experience from employment market activities, integration work, or adult education
• experience in practical work deemed relevant for the position
• completed post-secondary education considered relevant for the position
• are multilingual, preferably Arabic

As a person, you are responsible and structured, and you find it easy to find solutions even when circumstances change rapidly. You are confident in leading groups in practical work and have a good ability to create clarity and structure in the workgroup. Building relationships comes naturally to you, and you enjoy collaborating while also being able to work independently. We are looking for someone who is hands-on and does not hesitate to step in where needed.

In this role, you need to enjoy varying days and the fact that planning can sometimes change quickly. You will work both independently and together with colleagues and participants, and you like that combination.

A driving license for manual transmission is required.
