JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now expanding our workgroup with an additional employee, and perhaps you are the one we are looking for!

We are looking for someone interested in working with social change efforts targeting the group of adults with mental disabilities and comorbidity. The position involves exercising authority in the area, and you will handle reports, applications, and follow-ups of interventions based on the Social Services Act (SoL). Since the process for violence in close relationships permeates all activities within the Social Administration, handling in this area will also occur. There may also be handling according to the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS).

The Social Administration in Kalmar has a process-oriented perspective and approach to ensure the entire care chain for those in need of our support. This means we have close collaboration with our interventions and external actors such as healthcare. We investigate and assess needs with the support of IBIC (Individual Needs in Center) to ensure legally secure and evidence-based assessments. Throughout the administration, there is also good competence regarding violence in close relationships.

With us, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with colleagues on the development of working methods and methods within the framework of our goal work. We constantly want to develop and improve our work, and everyone's participation is a prerequisite for this.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a degree in social work or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent for the position. We would like you to have experience working within social services handling cases concerning adults with mental disabilities and alternatively other areas within social services.

It is an advantage if you are familiar with applicable legislation. If you have training and previous experience using the investigation and follow-up tool IBIC, this is considered a merit. It is also advantageous if you have previous experience working in the operational systems Lifecare and Cosmic Link and have undergone other training in, for example, violence in close relationships. We value that you have good knowledge of the community's support systems.

The work requires that you have an easy time building relationships, the ability to handle pressured and stressful situations well, and that you take great responsibility for completing your tasks. We believe that you are curious and creative in your work but also that you have the ability to sort and prioritize what needs to be done both in the short and long term. We believe that you are interested in contributing both individually and in collaboration with others to the overall development of the organization.

As a social worker, it is also required that you are used to expressing yourself both verbally and in writing, and since travel in the job occurs, you need to have a B driver's license.
