We are looking for a structured and technology-interested lab assistant to join our client's team. This role is suitable for you if you have experience from a technical or electronics-focused lab and enjoy combining practical work with administrative tasks.
About the position
As a lab assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our client's lab environment is functional and organized. You will be an important support function for engineers and the lab team, manage instruments, and contribute to an efficient working environment. You will also be responsible for scheduling and administration of EMC projects.
You will be offered

Responsibilities
This role includes a wide variety of practical tasks, from instrument handling and calibration to logistics and administrative support for the lab team and clients, as well as managing EMC projects.
- Assist engineers in locating instruments and equipment.
- Calibration of instruments and issuance of calibration certificates.
- Perform minor repairs of instruments.
- Manage freight logistics for instrument calibration (quotes, purchase orders, packing, and follow-up).
- Maintain and organize instrument inventory, inventory database, and calibration documentation.
- Support the lab team and engineers with practical tasks, including keeping the lab organized.
- Schedule and reschedule EMC clients and manage EMC projects in the system.
We are looking for someone who
- Has completed high school education, preferably in technology or a similar field.
- Has a strong technical interest and enjoys practical work.
- Has experience with administrative tasks and working in various systems.
- Has the ability to create and maintain structure.
- Has good social skills for contact with both engineers and clients.
- Can communicate both verbally and in writing in Swedish and English.
It is a plus if you have
- An interest in electronics. It is a plus if you have built something at home as a hobby.
- Previous experience in similar practical work, such as in a laboratory, workshop, technical service, or logistics.
- Experience in calibration or handling of measuring instruments.
