Södertull Health Center is located in central Lund with good commuting opportunities and is one of Lund's largest health centers with a diverse staff with broad expertise. We have approximately 11,300 registered patients of various ages. The medical staff consists of a mix of specialists in general medicine, ST doctors, and AT doctors. In addition, medical secretaries, nurses, nursing assistants, occupational therapists, dietitians, social workers, psychologists, and physiotherapists work at the health center. We are located in spacious airy premises that are well adapted for the operation where everyone fits under one roof.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you a dedicated specialist doctor with a genuine interest in close patient work and collaboration with engaged and competent colleagues? Are you passionate about building long-term patient relationships and following patients' health over time? Then you should apply for the position with us at Södertull Health Center!

As a doctor with us, you are part of a close-knit team with different professions, where everyone is given the opportunity to work at the top of their competence. Traditional reception work will be varied with side assignments of various kinds, such as responsibility for special housing and possibly gynecology. The assignment includes mentoring students, ST, and AT. You will have a patient list that does not exceed 1100.

With us, you will receive an individually tailored introduction based on your previous experiences so that you can enter the work in the best way. Continuing education and collegial cooperation are prioritized areas to enable a stimulating and attractive work environment. Every other week, all employees have the opportunity for their own development time. The health center has been working for some time with team rounds in everyday work with a focus on continuity, collaboration, and person-centered care.

Furthermore, we expect you to be involved and proactive in improvement work and business development. We use speech recognition (TIK) in all documentation, video meetings, and chat, among other things, in our daily work. You are also expected to be able to conduct a digital reception.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is interested in meeting people and following your patients over time. As a person, you have a clear forward drive and a great interest in both development and learning. You value good collaboration and actively contribute by sharing your knowledge and experiences. Your commitment and positive attitude promote a pleasant working atmosphere, where we help each other to achieve the best possible quality of care for our patients.

We welcome you as a licensed doctor with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare, and you have specialist training in a relevant field such as general medicine. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are a requirement. Previous experience in primary care is an advantage for the position.

As a person, you are a good listener and empathetic, with a fundamental security and ability to work independently in your role as a doctor. Your experiences and knowledge base are well-founded, but we also offer good conditions for further education and skills enhancement. We also wish that you are creative and innovative, as we constantly work on development issues to provide our patients with the best possible care. As a specialist doctor, you will work with both planned and acute consultations and meet patients of all ages. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
