JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the medical department, you will meet patients with a wide variety of internal medicine diagnoses such as infections, heart failure, and COPD, often elderly and multi-sick. Some of the infection flow consists of orthopedic patients.

- Working here in the medical department is both exciting and developing. We work with different patient groups and learn something new every day. It can certainly be challenging and tough at times, but it is also a very fun department and we are a great team, says Patrik, a nurse in the medical department.

We offer an exciting position with great variation in diagnoses, treatments, and patient groups. With us, you have good conditions to build a broad competence in the field of internal medicine.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with the authority to practice in Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale are required. We welcome both experienced and newly graduated nurses.

As a person, you have a positive attitude and see opportunities, which is evident in your ability to adapt your working methods to changing circumstances that arise in everyday life. In contact with patients and relatives, we expect you to be attentive and have a humble and empathetic approach. You are curious and want to learn new things, which is evident in your way of taking initiative in the workplace. We also want you, just like us, to value and promote good collaboration both with colleagues and the immediate supervisor as well as with external partners and other departments in the hospital. Of course, you work according to Region Skåne's values. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
