Overall description of the position, purpose:

The prerequisite for effective production and pharmaceutical sales at MWI Animal Health is that the pharmacy operates rationally and cost-effectively. In the role of licensed pharmacist (pharmacy technician or pharmacist) at MWI Animal Health, you are expected to work with a customer focus to contribute to better health for our customers and promote the pharmacy's success as an ambassador for all of MWI Animal Health. As a pharmacist at MWI Animal Health, you have overall responsibility for:

• interacting with customers in a professional and customer-oriented manner
• staying updated on changes in the external environment related to professional and pharmaceutical issues
• working towards the unit's set goals
• suggesting necessary actions in case of deviations

Main tasks:

• Ensuring customer needs and offering the customer a solution
• Receiving and processing requisitions/prescriptions from the webshop/phone/other e-solutions
• Dispensing medications on requisition and prescriptions to the pharmacy's customers
• Performing safe pharmaceutical control and assessment
• Answering pharmaceutical questions via phone/email
• Assessing self-care and/or referring to healthcare
• Providing advice on medication use based on customer needs
• Developing in customer dialogue
• Supporting colleagues in more complex pharmaceutical matters
• Receiving complaints and customer feedback and registering these
• Registering dispensing errors and deviations
• Staying updated on new medications
• Staying updated on internal campaigns
• Supporting the company's ISO project and quality certification by working in accordance with these
• Actively contributing ideas and initiatives to continuously improve work methods

Other

Licensed pharmacist or licensed pharmacy technician (license from the National Board of Health and Welfare required). Fluent Swedish in writing and speaking. Extended language skills in English and other Nordic languages are advantageous. Previous experience from animal pharmacies is also a plus. Other tasks and responsibilities assigned by the immediate supervisor.
