JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The job responsibilities include psychiatric work within outpatient care at one of our units in Malmö or Trelleborg, or inpatient care including assignments at the acute psychiatric reception as a day backup/psychiatric consultant. There is also the possibility to combine work in outpatient care and inpatient care and to specialize in areas such as eating disorders.

As a newly qualified specialist with us, you will continue to develop in a safe environment where colleagues are available for discussion and support in clinical assessments. As a more experienced specialist or senior physician, you will encounter an organization where your competence is utilized, and where you can contribute both clinically and strategically.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying are a licensed physician authorized to practice within Swedish healthcare. Additionally, you have specialist competence in psychiatry. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are a requirement. You should have completed or planned a course in clinical supervision.

For employment as a senior physician, you must also have:

• full-time service of at least three years (documented effective time)
• clinical skill and independence in child and adolescent psychiatry or adult psychiatry
• defined medical responsibility and knowledge area
• documented teaching and supervision merits.

A dissertation can be credited as equivalent to a total of one year of clinical service.

Experience in psychiatric work within outpatient care and/or inpatient care is an advantage. We would like you to have an interest in development work, evidence-based care, and preferably also research. You have the ability to work both independently and in a team and possess good communication skills as well as a professional and empathetic approach.

At a university hospital unit, it is required that physicians have pedagogical experience and education. This can be acquired through supervision of, for example, nursing and medical students as well as physicians in training and as co- or main supervisors of doctoral students. Clearly describe in your application completed or planned pedagogical courses, experience in supervision, and teaching at various levels.
