We are looking for a biomedical analyst who wants to contribute to vital operations in transfusion medicine.

The Clinical Immunology and Transfusion Medicine Unit (KIT) operates in ten hospitals in Skåne and has over 200 employees. The unit is responsible for laboratory operations in clinical immunology, transfusion medicine, and transplantation immunology, as well as blood donation in Skåne. KIT has a mission to provide healthcare in Region Skåne with high-quality blood components to conduct modern healthcare for both acute and chronic conditions. The unit is accredited, and some parts of the operation are centralized in Lund. We are organized in processes with a unit manager, a medical director, and process leaders working closely together.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We now have the opportunity to welcome a biomedical analyst to Clinical Immunology and Transfusion Medicine in Kristianstad/Hässleholm!

With us, you will work with blood donor recruitment, blood donation, component production, blood group immunological analyses, and blood distribution. As a biomedical analyst, you will have the opportunity to combine laboratory work with service-oriented tasks related to blood donation and donor recruitment. The tasks are varied, and there are great opportunities to take on increased responsibility for a process or area, thereby expanding your knowledge and experience.

Your working hours are scheduled on weekdays during the day, with some evening shifts per month, and Saturday shifts may occur in the position. You will be based in Kristianstad, but work in Hässleholm may occur to a lesser extent.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who apply are a licensed biomedical analyst with the authority to work within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish must at least correspond to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. The role suits you if you want to work both with blood donors and in laboratory work. Previous experience from a blood center or similar operations is an advantage.

As a person, you appreciate collaboration and have good communication skills. You are naturally service-oriented towards our blood donors, customers, and your colleagues. The work requires you to be flexible and contribute to a good and pleasant atmosphere in the workgroup. When filling the position, great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
