We are now welcoming an operating room nurse with a role as a medical technology coordinator (MT) to an exciting and stimulating job in an organization characterized by social community, good team spirit, and development. With us, you will have the opportunity to work with many different types of surgeries and patient groups in combination with the role of MT coordinator, where you are an important part of both the clinical and strategic work.

The Central Hospital of Kristianstad (CSK) is one of Region Skåne's acute hospitals where more than 9,000 surgeries are performed annually, including over 1,000 pediatric anesthesias. In addition to the operating room, there is an intensive care unit, postoperative and day surgery operations, anesthesia and pain clinics, and a sterilization center. The operating room at CSK performs planned and emergency surgeries around the clock in gynecology, urology, vascular, pacemaker insertions, breast surgery, upper and lower gastro, ear-nose-throat, adult and pediatric dentistry, certain maxillofacial surgery, and emergency orthopedics. Robot-assisted surgeries are also performed in gynecology, urology, and upper and lower gastro.

RESPONSIBILITIES

With us, we work interprofessionally in teams focusing on the specific needs of the patient. The care provided is highly qualified, and we work evidence-based with a constant strive for development and new technology. Perioperative care is essential before, during, and after surgery. Both short and long procedures occur in our department.

We work within a broad, varied, and inspiring field of knowledge where all staff categories are offered the opportunity to subspecialize in their respective areas. The department currently has four teams with team leaders who drive each section forward. As an employee with us, you will be part of one of the teams with the opportunity to experience both elective and emergency surgery. Working hours are scheduled both during the day and on call with 38.25 hours/week as a full-time measure with a favorable quota agreement, or alternatively daytime with 40 hours/week as a full-time measure. We have a booking schedule that allows you to influence your scheduling.

As a Medical Technology Coordinator in the department, you will assist in the work of ensuring the quality of the use of medical technology products. You will be the link between the organization, the management of the organization, the medical technology department, and the procurement department. This coordination function is fundamental and should shape daily work. The work as a medical technology coordinator consists of 50% administrative time and 50% clinical service.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying are a licensed specialist nurse with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. Additionally, you have specialist training in surgery. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are a requirement. It is an advantage if you have a bachelor's degree, master's degree, and/or a master's in nursing. Furthermore, you have an interest in medical technology equipment in a high-tech environment.

You are also flexible and can quickly adapt when the situation requires it.
