The Urology Clinic at Ängelholm Hospital is part of the urology service area, which offers urological care in both Helsingborg and Ängelholm. In Helsingborg, there is both an inpatient and an outpatient department, while Ängelholm has an outpatient clinic. In Ängelholm, day surgeries and many of our kidney stone operations are performed. We are one of the most complete urological services in southern Sweden, with extensive surgical operations in both Ängelholm and Helsingborg. The operations are conducted in newly renovated and suitable premises where we focus on the diagnosis and treatment of kidney stones as well as several other urological conditions.

Ängelholm Hospital is one of Region Skåne's two centers for kidney stone treatment and plays a central role in the training of ST doctors, with a particular focus on transurethral and day surgery procedures.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We now welcome a nursing assistant to our Urology Clinic!

As a nursing assistant with us, you will gain broad knowledge and experience in our specialty. You will have the opportunity to work with stimulating tasks such as catheter placement and catheter care, wound care, sample collection, assisting in various examinations and minor surgeries. Own clinic once a week.

We offer you great variety in daily work and a wonderful community.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and meets the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for a protected professional title, regardless of whether you have studied according to previous or current program structures. Good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, are a requirement. Experience in surgical and/or urological care is an advantage. It is also advantageous if you have at least two years of work experience in the healthcare profession and are accustomed to documenting in Melior.

You have a genuine interest in people and care, and together with your colleagues, you want to provide our patients with the best possible care. Additionally, you have good communication skills and work well in collaboration with others. We would like you to be proactive and have the ability to handle unforeseen events well.
