Make a difference. Every day.
The Urology department (VO) consists of two wards and an outpatient clinic in Malmö. We strive for high accessibility and satisfied patients, creating a pleasant workplace.
The wards have 36 beds from Monday to Friday and 30 beds on weekends. The focus is on highly specialized urological care with all types of surgeries in the urinary tract. We utilize surgical techniques that result in short hospital stays and high patient turnover, creating a dynamic workplace. Staff members work with different diagnosis groups in five-week periods and then rotate to maintain a broad competence. We have close collaboration between the wards, continuously working on each employee's individual professional development. Here, we maintain a constant patient focus, which frequently leads to very good results in our patient evaluations.
We have recently moved into new premises at the New Hospital Area in Malmö (NSM). This allows us to provide care in state-of-the-art facilities with a focus on the individual, ensuring a work environment with good conditions.
At our workplace, we operate according to Region Skåne's competence and service model, which provides a clear structure for your learning and career opportunities within our organization.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Do you want to help develop nutrition at the Urology care unit in Malmö? We are now looking for a dietitian for a part-time position.
As a dietitian with us, you will primarily work with nutritional treatment of patients in both outpatient and inpatient care, where malignant conditions dominate. Urology is primarily a surgical specialty, but medical aspects are part of daily work, such as in cases of kidney failure, diabetes, and COPD. The position largely involves traditional ward work. As part of the job, you will also conduct staff training and improvement work that you drive together with a nutrition group or independently. There are also opportunities to participate in various studies regarding nutritional treatment if interested.
We have been a stable workplace for many years, and our employees enjoy working here. The staff is engaged, and the dietitian is an integral part of the team.
The part-time position involves up to 8-12 hours of work per week. There is an opportunity to perform some work digitally, provided you feel comfortable managing and consulting inpatient patients. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions about the position or the organization.
