Regionfastigheter continues to develop its work with circular flows and sustainable construction. We are now looking for a sustainability coordinator focused on the reuse of building materials, who wants to drive development forward while working practically close to the projects.

The position belongs to the Quality and Sustainability Unit, which has a management-wide mission regarding responsibility for operational planning, energy issues, environmental and sustainability, information management, and process development. The unit also has investigation assignments within complex property strategic issues and coordinates and drives development projects. We are located in bright, pleasant premises at Dockplatsen in Malmö, just a few minutes' walk from the central station.

Regionfastigheter develops and manages Region Skåne's properties with a focus on creating safe, functional, and sustainable environments for residents and employees. Currently, Region Skåne is making the largest investments ever in Skåne's hospital areas. We develop complex construction projects in sensitive healthcare environments, always with the highest demands on operational reliability. At the same time, we are expanding the infrastructure for public transport with new service depots for buses and trains.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a sustainability coordinator, you will lead and coordinate the work on how reuse should be planned, implemented, and followed up within Regionfastigheter. You will be at the center of our investment in circular flows and create conditions for reuse to work both in theory and in practice. You will work to develop and clarify working methods for what should be reused, why, and how, focusing on economic, practical, and environmental benefits. Working operationally and closely with project managers, contractors, and operations organizations to support them in reuse work is a large part of your job.

In this role, you will also have primary responsibility for Regionfastigheter's internal product bank and reuse storage, which also includes inventory, documentation, reservations, and coordination of transport. As a sustainability coordinator, you are the link between the product bank and the projects to ensure that materials are put to use.

You will also be part of driving capacity-building initiatives and contributing to the development of structures and processes for circular construction.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a university degree or equivalent education combined with work experience deemed relevant by the employer. To be considered for the position, you have experience from the construction or property industry and/or work with reuse. You also have a good understanding of logistics and material flows. A prerequisite is that you have good digital competence and experience working in various systems.

It is important that you have a confident communicative ability and find it easy to build relationships. To take on this role, you need to have a creative and solution-oriented working style and the ability to work independently, service-oriented, and driven. It is also essential that you are flexible and can easily switch between strategic and operational tasks.
