In beautiful nature with sea and forest, Ängelholm is located near the major cities in the Öresund region. The operating department in Ängelholm belongs to the area of anesthesiology, surgery, and intensive care at Helsingborg Hospital. In the operating department in Ängelholm, we mainly conduct planned day surgery. The department consists of surgical, anesthetic, sterile, day surgery, and recovery operations. We provide specialized planned care in orthopedics, surgery, gynecology, urology, and ear, nose, and throat outpatient care, and we receive both adults and children during daytime, Monday to Friday. We are responsible for the entire flow; pre-, peri-, and postoperative care.

The recovery department has twelve monitoring places for elective and inpatient surgery. The sterile technical unit has both internal and external customers. We are about 90 employees, and the workgroup consists of nurses, surgical nurses, anesthetic nurses, nursing assistants, sterile technicians, doctors, and unit managers. We constantly strive for good teamwork and collaboration between our specialties. This is one of the keys to good care for our patients. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an anesthetic nurse, you will work with pre- and perioperative care, medical technology, and nursing documentation. With your skills and experience, you help our patients feel safe both before and during surgery. In your daily work, you have the support of your colleagues, and together you work to provide the patient with the best possible care. With us, you will gain solid knowledge in caring for both adults and children based on your conditions. We anesthetize about 100 patients a week, both children and adults, and you work closely with your anesthetic nurse and anesthesiologist colleagues.

The working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday. Some on-call duty may be relevant as anesthesia has a task at the hospital for anesthesia competence during on-call hours.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a licensed nurse with permission to practice within Swedish healthcare and who has specialized training in anesthetic nursing. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are required. If you have experience in improvement management, it is an advantage.

As a person, you are secure, flexible, and meticulous. It is important that you have a willingness to take responsibility and are willing to come up with your own initiatives. You also have a desire to develop and learn new things. Furthermore, we see that you enjoy working in a team and contribute to a safe and welcoming work environment.
