The Cardiac Day Care Unit is located in the cardiac department in Helsingborg. We aim to provide our patients with safe and attentive care before various examinations in a tailored environment. Patients coming to day care will undergo coronary angiography, pacemaker surgery, or electrical cardioversion.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities in day care include preparations, post-care, and planning work before and after patients' various examinations, among other tasks. We receive patients who will undergo coronary angiography, pacemaker insertion, and electrical cardioversion. It is also common for patients to come for infusions or echocardiograms.

This advertisement is for a temporary position until 2027-05-31, with the possibility of extension. There is also an option to be employed in the cardiac department but work solely in the cardiac day care during the period to continue working in the cardiac department after the temporary position ends.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed nurse with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare and at least three years of clinical experience with patients with heart disease. Proficiency in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages is required. It is an advantage if you have previously worked in cardiac care, day care, emergency care, or outpatient care. We also prefer candidates with experience in the Melior documentation system and cardiac monitoring.
