Summer Job as a Physiotherapist in Båstad Municipality

The rehabilitation service in Båstad Municipality is looking for you who want to work as a temporary physiotherapist for the summer of 2026.

The rehabilitation service consists of seven occupational therapists, seven physiotherapists (one of whom is on parental leave), one rehabilitation assistant, one caretaker, and one unit manager.

Our operations are based in Grevie, where we are gathered, except for one occupational therapist and one physiotherapist who are stationed at the municipality's short-term accommodation in Förslöv.

We work across the municipality in teams with home care, special accommodations, LSS activities, social psychiatry, and short-term accommodation. You need to be open and flexible in your working method as we need to adjust daily to prioritize what is most important right now.

Teamwork is an important part of health and medical care work within care and support. You will meet, in addition to our own operations, also nurses, care assistants, nursing aides, case managers, and unit managers out in the various operations. We support each other in the work group and all contribute to making a difference for the individual patient, the citizen in Båstad Municipality. We work patient-centered together with the individual care and support recipient based on their needs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a physiotherapist in Båstad Municipality, you work to enable individuals to live as independently as possible. You have the overall rehabilitation responsibility together with the occupational therapist. You perform assessments, training, evaluations, and follow-ups, as well as testing and following up on technical aids based on the physiotherapist's prescription rights. Your work also includes informing, instructing, and guiding staff, patients, and relatives regarding rehabilitative and preventive measures.

Work occurs in special accommodations, home care, LSS, and social psychiatry. Close collaboration takes place with other professionals, teamwork, and planning for discharges based on the tool "My Plans" when patients are to be discharged from inpatient care at the hospital.

We document in the operational system Lifecare HSL, and orders for aids are made via websesam.

We offer you the opportunity to work with us from June 1 to August 21 or according to agreement.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist. It is an advantage if you have previous experience working as a licensed physiotherapist, especially within the municipality.

For the assignment, you need to be able to independently plan and organize your work and have good collaboration skills both internally and externally. You need to be flexible as tasks vary and be able to prioritize in different situations. You need to have a genuine interest and commitment to working with people. You are stimulated by challenges and place great importance on good interactions.

You are required to take significant personal responsibility in your professional role. However, it is important to know that you have colleagues close at hand as support in your daily work.

A driver's license is a requirement.
