The Råå Health Center is located in the southern part of Helsingborg, just a stone's throw from the sea, with good train and bus connections. We have over 50 employees who take care of our 11,400 registered patients. We offer these patients a wide range of services including diabetes, asthma/COPD, hypertension, elderly care, and district nursing, as well as a child health center. We also strive to ensure that all patients have their own named doctor and that patients with chronic illnesses are regularly called from a waiting list for visits. This is to ensure good and qualitative care for our patients.

All staff groups work in a cross-professional and team-based manner, and the doors are always open for collegial questions and discussions. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Here you will work with everything from health promotion measures to taking care of acutely ill people. The nurse's role is crucial for the patient flow to function well. It is important to be able to triage patients both to the right profession, at the right level of care, and to make correct medical priorities. Triage and assessment are done via phone, chat, email, video calls, or in person as a booked assessment at our triage reception. Therefore, your tasks will be varied and stimulating. There are doctors available, providing good opportunities for joint assessments to develop knowledge levels.

As a new employee with us, you will be offered an introduction that we plan based on your current competence level. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to shadow for your own tasks as well as to observe other professions for an in-depth insight into what primary care entails. With us, you will have the opportunity to develop as a person and in your profession, including through continuous further education.

The position is a temporary employment for six months with a possible extension.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with permission to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are a prerequisite for the position. We are primarily looking for someone who is currently working or has worked in primary care or in an emergency department. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who is skilled at planning and organizing their work, but also has the ability to prioritize and adapt when needed. You are meticulous, confident, and stable, and you consider patients based on their varying needs. Furthermore, you are attentive, empathetic, and have a positive attitude as well as a good approach towards both patients and colleagues. You show great commitment to your work and find it easy to collaborate and enjoy having a variety of tasks. You feel comfortable and secure in your role as a nurse and selflessly share your knowledge with both colleagues in different professional groups and potential students. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
