The Råå Health Center is located in the southern part of Helsingborg with good train and bus connections and just a stone's throw from the sea. We have over 50 employees who take care of our 11,400 registered patients. We offer these patients medical consultations and district nurse consultations, as well as a wide range of specialist clinics in areas such as diabetes, asthma/COPD, hypertension, and elderly care. Our rehabilitation department collaborates with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, and psychologists. There is also a child health center (BVC) here.

We strive for all patients to have their own named physician and for patients with chronic diseases to be regularly called in for visits. This is to ensure good and quality care for our patients.

All staff groups work transprofessionally and team-based, and the doors are always open for collegial questions and discussions. We have a short morning meeting daily to keep everyone updated on what is happening in the organization. Here we work on constantly developing and continuously improving our operations. We strive for a listing cap of 1100 patients per full-time specialist physician, with the cap being slightly lower for ST physicians. Today we have eight specialist physicians in general medicine, five ST physicians, and AT physicians.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In your role as a specialist physician in general medicine, you will be responsible for your registered patients. The doctors at the health center have different areas of responsibility such as BVC, rounds at our nursing homes, and supervision of students. You will also work with common tasks such as planned and acute medical visits, serve as a consulting physician for nurses, and participate in rounds for assessment and triage. Furthermore, collaboration cases with the municipality and other authorities are also included.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed physician with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare and have specialist competence in general medicine. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are a requirement for the position.

You are meticulous, secure, and stable, and you consider patients based on their different needs. As a person, you are attentive, empathetic, and have a positive attitude. Additionally, you have a good approach towards both patients and colleagues. You also show a great commitment to your work and find it easy to collaborate while enjoying a variety of tasks. We would like you, just like us, to have an interest in working with development and improvement. Therefore, we expect you to actively participate in the development of the organization and take responsibility for your professional development. You feel comfortable and secure in your role as a physician and share your knowledge selflessly with colleagues in various professional groups as well as with potential students and training physicians.
