Within the social care administration, about 1200 dedicated employees work to provide support and care to those in need in our municipality. The work takes place within elderly care, home care, disability services, social psychiatry, and individual and family care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are currently looking for a care assistant at Briggen Home Care who wants to work likely during the day or evening! With us, you will have the opportunity to provide personal care to clients in their own homes based on their needs, assistance decisions, and individual implementation plans.

In home care, you work in the client's own home where you provide care, support, and nursing based on assistance decisions and individual implementation plans. You will have an important and responsible role, where the assignment as a permanent care contact allows you to create continuity, security, and good relationships.

Your tasks include:

• Personal care and hygiene.
• Social support, companionship, and conversation.
• Medication management.
• Cleaning.
• Accompanying to activities outside the home.
• Other interventions that contribute to increased quality of life.

The work involves both solitary work and heavy lifting, but you will be part of an engaged team where collaboration and support are a given.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a professional approach and is confident in their role. You are responsible, proactive, and enjoy working together with others in an engaged team. You find it easy to build good relationships and have a genuine interest in people, their needs, and well-being.

We place great importance on personal suitability.

To be qualified for the position, you must:

• Be a trained care assistant with a protected professional title.
• Since communication and documentation are central and important parts, the work requires good knowledge of the Swedish language, both verbally and in writing.
• Be able to cycle.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience working in care.
