In the role of a care assistant with us at Forenede Care, you will provide good care, service, and support to our guests. With us, you make a difference every day while having fun at work. Villa Magnolia and Magnoliaträffen are two day activities for people with cognitive impairments located in the heart of Staffanstorp. They are centrally located with good communication options from both Malmö and Lund.

In the position of care assistant, you will work with care and support based on the guests' wishes, in accordance with assistance decisions, and always with a strong focus on quality. You will assist with personal hygiene, meal preparation and serving, activities, and being there for social interaction. Social interaction is an important part of our work to ensure that all our guests can live life to the fullest. This can involve everything from talking, playing games, going on excursions, cycling, or finding fun activities together. You will also work with delegated tasks from licensed staff in the form of medication administration.

Job Description

We are currently looking for hourly employed care assistants for the activities with the possibility of a schedule every third Saturday from 9:15 AM to 3:00 PM.

Opening hours for the day activities are: Monday-Saturday 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM and on public holidays.

To be considered for the position, you need:

• A certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare as a care assistant

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing

• A driver's license

We also see it as an advantage if you have specialized training in dementia care.

To thrive in the position, you are engaged and care about your fellow human beings while being good at building good relationships and being service-oriented. We work in teams as well as independently, so it is important that you are comfortable in that environment.

Before we offer employment, you must provide an unopened extract from the police criminal record. We also request a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or approved work permit from the Migration Agency.
