Care Assistant Wanted for Evening and Night Shifts in Lund

Norrdala is a single-story residence with 46 apartments, divided into six smaller departments, four of which focus on cognitive impairment. All departments have outdoor areas and good opportunities for garden activities as well as games at our petanque court. Our tandem bike is a popular activity that creates strong bonds between residents and staff as the bike is ridden through the beautiful green areas.

About the Roles and Responsibilities

We care about the entire day and want our evening/night organization to be a natural part of the whole. This means that you will be involved in team meetings, APT, working with quality registers, and other joint work with us.

As a care assistant during evenings and nights, you will work flexibly in our various departments. You will plan your workday based on the residents' wishes and needs for assistance and support with personal care, meals, and activities. Your role includes performing delegated tasks, contributing the night perspective in care plans, documenting in Lifecare, evaluating, and helping to ensure that the operation maintains good quality. We follow up quality in national registers such as the BPSD register, SweDem, and Senior Alert.

You will collaborate in a team with other professional groups with the resident at the center. We work based on the national value foundation in elderly care, where the key words are self-determination, participation, and individual adaptation. You will focus on the residents' wishes and needs and strive to make their everyday lives meaningful.

The working hours are 100% and include evenings and nights as well as every other weekend. The full-time measure is 34 hours and 20 minutes per week.

We Are Looking for You

who has a degree as a care assistant and wants to work both evenings and nights as well as every other weekend in a varied schedule. We prefer that you have experience working evening and night shifts in care and support and the possibility of being fully delegated in Lund municipality. We want you to be confident in your role as a care assistant and have a positive attitude towards development and change.

We want you to have good experience working with individuals with cognitive impairment/dementia.

General computer skills and proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, are necessary for documentation and communication in the workplace.
