Department of Digitalization and Service

The Department of Digitalization and Service is responsible for Mid Sweden University's IT, Service Center, Archives, and Diarium as well as media production.

The department consists of about 50 employees and operates in both Östersund and Sundsvall. Among other things, the department handles technical support, development, operations, information security, telephony, and service center. The department has both operational and strategic responsibilities in these areas.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a new colleague to our registry. Being a registrar at Mid Sweden University means you are a supportive function to the rest of the organization where you constantly work to make it easy to do the right thing. The work is outward-facing with many contacts both externally and internally. Your task includes continuously developing related processes and systems. There is great scope within the function to implement changes.

Your responsibilities include handling incoming mail and the registrar's email, record-keeping, releasing public documents, information retrieval, advising, and training. Other related tasks will arise as you are part of a team with others in the archive and record-keeping function.

The function is based in Sundsvall, but travel between campuses may occur.

Your Background

We are looking for someone with education in archives and registry, or alternatively, you have extensive work experience in the field. You have current experience working in systems for record-keeping of public documents and electronic document management. You need to have a good understanding of the laws and regulations governing public operations as well as the role and responsibilities of the registrar function, and experience in qualified work as a registrar in public operations.

You also have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing, both in English and Swedish.

It is an advantage if you have experience working in the W3D3 system.

To thrive in the role of registrar with us, you need to be meticulous and structured and able to handle rapid changes. You take responsibility for your own learning, work independently, and dare to trust your knowledge and abilities. It is important that you enjoy sharing your knowledge and collaborating with others. You need to be interested in developing the operations within the registry but also enjoy working with more routine tasks.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities such as service orientation and the ability to communicate and collaborate.

Employment and Start Date

The employment is a full-time temporary position starting from 2026-04-27 or by agreement, but no later than 2026-10-23.
